Mark O. Roberts, Jr., graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in 1969, then earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in 1977. Mark began his career in 1969 with Standard Mutual Insurance Company in Springfield, where he started building over five decades of experience as an insurance executive. In 1992, Mark became President of Standard Mutual Insurance Company and then Chairman of the Board in 1993. He held those titles until his retirement in 2018.
Mark joined the Board of Directors for Town and Country Bank in 1974 and has remained on the Board for over 45 years. He is a Life Member of the University of Arkansas Alumni Association and the University of Illinois Alumni Association and has served as a board member for several organizations throughout Central Illinois. He was previously a member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriters and the Board of Directors for the Sangamo Club, and has a long history of community involvement.
