Bart Solon graduated from the College of Agriculture at the University of Illinois in 1971. From there, he began his career in banking that culminated in over 45 years of experience. Throughout his career, Bart has held several titles, including Business Banker, Bank Consultant, Director, and CEO.
In 1999, Bart founded Partners Bank, a bank for businesses and professionals, where he operated as the Chairman and CEO. In 2008, Partners Bank merged with First Clover Leaf Financial Corporation, where he served as a consultant. Bart is the Founder and Director of the Lynn F. Solon Foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals with diabetes and disabilities. The Foundation is involved in several community outreach programs and provides grants and scholarships for high school graduates with physical and/or learning disabilities.
Bart has 35 years of experience as a board member and joined the Board of Directors for Town and Country Bank in 2017. Outside the bank, he’s actively involved with the operation of the Solon family farm, which has been in operation since 1848.
