1995. He passed the CPA exam shortly after and received the Illinois CPA Society's " Excel Award" based on his exam results ranking within the top 120 of 66,000 candidates in the nation and the top 14 of 3,500 candidates in Illinois. He attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he graduated in 2000 in the top 10%. He received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2004.

Micah began his 31-year banking career as a teller at a $16 million community bank in Girard, Illinois. Bartlett’s career grew to Chief Financial Officer at other community banks throughout Illinois. Joining Town and Country in 2007, Bartlett has led the company’s growth from approximately $360 million in assets to approximately $900 million through both organic growth and multiple acquisitions.

Bartlett is deeply engaged in the industry and actively participates in industry-based organizations. He was Past Chairman of the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA) where he served on the board in various leadership capacities from 2009-2018, and continues to serve on the IBA’s Illinois Bankers Business Services Board of Directors and their Fintech Committee. Bartlett is a member of the Community Bankers Council Administrative Committee and a past member of the Government Relations Council of the American Bankers Association. He was an inaugural member of the Community Depository Institution Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, serving four years. In 2021, Micah accepted the Graduate School of Banking's invitation to serve a three-year term as the Southern Illinois representative on the nationwide Banker Advisory Board.

Bartlett is an active member of his community. He is a past board member of the United Way of Central Illinois and was the 2011 United Way Campaign Chairman. He serves on the Campaign Planning Committee of the University of Illinois at Springfield. Also having served and chaired numerous other local boards and committees, including educational, economic development, chamber of commerce, and other community organizations, Bartlett encourages Town and Country employees to do the same. He created an employee benefit, Community Connect, where employees receive 16 paid hours to volunteer in the community.

Micah enjoys spending time with his wife Peggy and their family. They are passionate about travel of all kinds, but particularly enjoy seeing new sites and meeting new people while traveling the country in their motorcoach.
