Town and Country Bank Opens Loan Production Office in Bloomington, IL, Hires Dave Rutledge as Community Bank President

Micah Bartlett, President and Chief Executive Officer of Town and Country Financial Corporation (“TCFC”) (OTC Pink: TWCF), parent company of Town and Country Bank (“TCB”),  announced the opening of a Loan Production Office (“LPO”) in Bloomington, IL. Experienced commercial banker, Dave Rutledge, has been hired as Executive Vice President and Community Bank President to head the operation.

Initially, the office will focus on business and mortgage lending to McLean County and surrounding counties. “Entering the Bloomington-Normal market will represent the Bank’s fourth new market in the past two years, and is a natural geographic expansion for Town and Country,” said Bartlett. “This new LPO will continue to enhance our positive momentum and growth since capitalizing on last year’s entry into the Metro-East market.”

Dave will lead the development of the commercial banking team for McLean County and represent the bank in the community. TCB will also be adding a local mortgage banking team.

“We welcome Dave’s experience and leadership to TCB and particularly his passion for deep client engagement and community involvement,” said Grant Franklin, Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking. “Dave has an accomplished background with demonstrated success in complex commercial banking for businesses. I am confident Dave will bring the same dedication to serving the financial needs of TCB’s business customers.”

Prior to joining TCB, Dave was Senior Vice President at First Midwest Bank in Bloomington, Illinois.

“I’m excited to join an organization where the focus is the customer’s financial well-being,” said Dave. “TCB is a growing community bank and I look forward to being a part of the continued success.”

Dave holds a bachelor’s in economics from University of Illinois and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mark F. Wagner will join Dave and manage the Small Business Administration (SBA) lending for Town and Country.

”We are very excited to welcome Mark to TCB,” said Dave. “His experience in commercial banking and commitment to the Bloomington-Normal community will strengthen our expanding team.”

Mark comes to TCB with 14 years of experience in commercial banking, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending at Heartland Bank and Trust Co. in Bloomington, Illinois.

”I’m pleased for the opportunity to have a role in the continuing growth of an organization that values customer relationships and strives to be an integral part of the communities it serves,” said Mark.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in ceramic engineering from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Purdue University.

The Town and Country Commercial LPO is located at 404 Hershey Ave., Suite B, in Bloomington, IL.
