Look around you, and you’ll find many impressive and meaningful organizations that are powered to help others and help out.  The folks at Town and Country Bank are motivated by this, and you’ll find us in your neck of the woods, lending a hand to groups that strengthen families, create vibrant neighborhoods, help disadvantaged people and support fine arts.

Many organizations have benefited from financial support, gifts of our time or other Town and Country Bank contributions. Learn more by watching a short video of Micah Bartlett talking about our involvement in the community.

Community Connect

Engaging with the communities we serve is important to Town and Country Bank. The Community Connect Program recognizes the importance of strong communities and wants to help facilitate the connection between employees and Central Illinois.

Instituted in March 2011, Community Connect provides 16 hours of paid volunteer time for all team members to volunteer in the neighborhoods where we live and work. Community Connect provides employees with the opportunity to choose an activity that is meaningful to them to make a difference. Community Connect is not a program whereby money and/or programming are promised or guaranteed to organizations. It is simply time for our team members to go out and volunteer.

We support organizations and programs focusing their attention on families and children emphasizing security, health, and happiness. Organizations that are eligible for volunteer assistance:

  • Not-for-profit organizations with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code.
  • Located within and/or primarily serving residents of Sangamon, Macon, and contingent counties.
  • Non-discriminatory in the hiring of staff or in providing services on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or disability.

Volunteer activities with a primary focus on religious, political/governmental purposes, and for profit business activities will not be considered. In addition, organizations whose activities represent a conflict of interest will not be considered.
