Short on Time? Five Ways Technology Can Help You Conveniently Bank

7/30/2018

Admit it. Your smartphone is your lifeline. Whether you’re shopping, streaming or getting directions, you reach for it countless times a day. But if you still aren’t using it for mobile banking, you’re missing out in a big way.

Banking technology has seriously evolved in the past several years. “Our closest branch is in the customer’s pocket,” says David Williams, Town and Country Bank’s Solution Center Manager. “No matter where you are, you can ‘take care of business’ without interrupting the rest of your life.”

Here are the top five ways the Town and Country mobile app makes banking easier than ever, according to Williams.

1. Check balances, transfer funds and access statements

Gone are the days where you must sit in front of a computer to access your account. Customers can now view updated balances, set up automatic transfers between accounts and review past statements with the FREE mobile app.

2. Deposit checks

Sign the back of the check, snap a pic with your smartphone of the front and back, and then click “deposit.” It’s that easy. No need to swing by a branch during business hours.

3. Pay bills

If you are still writing checks and licking stamps, take note. The mobile app provides a safe, secure and easy way to pay all your monthly bills directly from your checking or savings account. So you can literally pay that utility bill while relaxing in your pajamas.

4. Locate more than 25,000 ATMs nationwide

As convenient as debit cards are, there are still some situations that call for cash. Instead of trying to figure out which gas station carries an ATM, use the mobile app’s ATM locater to find a surcharge-free ATM near you to access cash quickly.

5. Organize finances

Budgeting can be a struggle for anyone. With help from the mobile app’s money management tool labeled “Finances” in the mobile app menu, you can create a customized, comprehensive view of your finances and accounts all in one place. No multiple logins and passwords to remember.
