Security

We take security very seriously at Town and Country Bank. While our bankers may ask you to verify your account over the phone by stating your social security number or account number, we will never request that personal information be sent to us via email.

To protect yourself from phishing and avoid identity theft online, we recommend that you:

  1. Never provide your personal information in response to an unsolicited request.
  2. If you believe the contact may be legitimate, contact the financial institution yourself.
  3. Never provide your password over the phone or in response to an unsolicited Internet or email request.
  4. Review account statements regularly to ensure all charges are correct, and balance your checkbook on a regular basis.
