At Town and Country Bank, we believe that money should empower people–not hold them back.  We’ve been removing the anxiety from money management since opening our first location in 1962. And it’s how we’ve helped our customers take on every stage of life–from buying their first house, to starting a savings account for their first baby, to embarking on retirement.

Doing our small part for the "financial part" of their lives—providing tangible solutions as well as acting as a sounding board with relevant advice. We can do this even with the industry restrictions, it's just a little more challenging—which is what makes it worthwhile!

    Your personal “Ah-Ha” moment about finances?:   In a previous life, our bank conducted basic finance classes at the local high school.  It was amazing to me how little a Senior in HS knew about very basic real world budgeting and credit.  I valued the opportunity to teach these kids the basics and help them understand the pit falls they could avoid.

    Your personal "Ah-Ha" moment about finances?: While remodeling our first house we got over extended on our few credit cards. We worked with them to set up a payment plan. It made me realize how quickly something like this can happen. It also made me more empathetic to others in that situation.
