President and CEO of Town and Country Financial Corporation - David Kirschner - <photo>

David Kirschner has served as Chief Executive Officer of Town and Country Financial Corporation since January 1996.  He is committed to its continued growth by offering competitive, innovative products and pursuing sound expansion opportunities - both organic and through acquisition.

David earned a B. S. in  Management from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana.   He began his banking career in the 1970’s at Town & Country Bank of Springfield, serving in various capacities.  He left banking in the early 1980’s to start his own real estate appraisal business and has taught real estate finance classes at Lincoln Land Community College.

While operating his own business, David served on the Board of Directors for the Bank, eventually serving as Chairman.   In 1995 he rejoined the organization as President of Town & Country Banc Mortgage Services, Inc.  Shortly thereafter he assumed the duties as CEO of Town & Country Bank of Springfield and finally, Town and Country Financial Corporation.
